Start with a named list, not a market. Choose the accounts you want, find the two or three people who decide in each, and reach them with one clear idea across email, LinkedIn, events and the occasional parcel on the desk. Then track every person's stage until they're in a meeting with you.
Name the targets
A qualified lead is someone at an account you want, with a problem you solve, at a time they can act. You can't reach that person by accident. Write the list first: accounts, people, roles and what each one worries about this quarter.
Give them one idea
Buyers remember one thing. Pick the idea that makes your target feel the cost of waiting, and tell it through real stories and numbers.
Use the moments they act
Cyber buyers act on triggers: a breach in the news, a board review, a renewal date, budgets being set before 1 July. Map your campaigns to those moments so your message lands when they're ready to move.
Measure the stages
Track each target from reached to engaged to met to opportunity. The conversion rate between stages shows where people stall, and that's where to test next.
